The CS400 system software offers multiple triggering options. A trigger input is necessary to calculate an RPM value and synchronize the image to the rotation.
Having multiple triggering options provides a significant increase in flexibility when defining a system installation and BOM.
All items, except 1 avoid the need to connect the trigger cable to the linescanner.
This avoids additional cabling (alarm/trigger cable) as only power and network connections are necessary.
Note: Removing the alarm/trigger cable from the installation also removes access to the backup (pc independent) alarm relay.
Recommendations using existing kiln trigger:
Options 1-3 require a 24V pulse (direct or via a relay).
1. Trigger signal via scanner (classic and legacy method). No additional hardware required.
2. Via TSM module. via RS485/Serial Server (without passing through to the scanner trigger input). Add TSM module (in cabinet) XXXTCSLRMMCONNBOX and Serial ethernet converter A-CS-CONV-ETH485
3. Via Wago I/O accessory (via ethernet connection). Wago field coupler (BASIC KIT) and 750-1406 input module. Add Wago Basic Kit A-IO-BASICKIT and digital input module A-IO-16DI
