Is the FPI Thermalert T4.0 "-0 option" (2-wire version, please note the gland fitting on the rear)
Step 1 - Check the Model Number - Block A - as this determines the spectral response
Step 2 - Check the Temp Range - Block B - In this example it would be a 01C
Step 3 - Check the Optical Resolution - Block C - In this example it would be a 01C
Step 4 - Ignore Output - Block D - All Thermalerts have a "Peak Picker" and decay function (but via software)
Step5 - Check Cooling - Block E - >90% have no cooling but it is worth checking the ambient conditions. Thermalert T4.0 is rated higher than Modline 4.
Accessories for Installation -
In a replacement situation it may be necessary to adapt the T4.0 to fit the location of the Modline 4:
Special Note: A-CB-MOD-W2-005 is rarely needed as the standard Modline 4 was shipped with a compression fitting cable entry. This cable would generally be suppled for legacy F727 specials where V32 and V33 "non-linear" outputs T4.0 specials replace.
