Firmware Update for affected Scanners

For Alert list announcement: click on MP - Alert List (known issues)

  1. Applicable for Scanners having firmware 4.01 to 4.08
  2. Latest Firmware for above point-1 Scanner: 4.11
  3. How to check the Scanner firmware:
    1. Open the Terminal7 or Terminal option in DTDP software
    2. Send the Commands:
      1. GID (Used for Scanner Serial Number)
      2. GVM (Used for Scanner current firmware

***********Special Note***********

 

 It may be necessary to add the updater .exe to firewall exceptions via "Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security" (outgoing connection) rather than by the "Allow an app through Windows Firewall". This is because with one update only the incoming exception was added - could be an anti-virus software issue.
