*********Special Note**********
DTMD version 6.1.99 is mandatory to perform the update. You may initially have an error message that the update was not successful. If this happens, please try again after power cycling the sensor.
Background on mA offset issue
A small number of sensors can have an intermittent effect where the mA output is 0.35mA higher than the calculated temperature to mA value.
This intermittent positive offset can equate to error for the a standard E1RL - +26.3K at any point in the temperature range.
Further examples below:
The problem is very often cleared by re initializing the sensor. However, the issue can return after an unpredictable number or power cycles or re initializations.
From an application perspective, the issue may never be detected (hidden inside an acceptable margin of error) or experienced in terms of process set-point instability.
It is typically detected when the PLC or indicator value is witnessed to differ from the temperature display on the LED panel on the sensor or displayed via software.
Not all units are affected.
