For a calibration check in the field of an HR MP150 as used with the CS210 together a Fluke 4181 IR Calibrator.
Please use the following settings:
Distance = 1520mm
Aperture = none
Emissivity setting for the scanner = 0.95
Offset to display @ 200 deg C= 0
Offset to display @ 350 deg C= +5K
Offset to display @ 500 deg C = +14K (means that MP150 will read 14 deg C too high)
Ensure that the transmissivity setting in the MP150 is set to 1 if used outside of the stainless steel housing.
There is no measured uncertainty value with this data other than what is stated for the Fluke 4181, this is simply for a check in the field.
Expect a similar response with an MT version of the MP150.
