The CM (metric) and Mi300 air purge collars are similar. They share the same thread dimensions and pitch.
In theory, both will fit either.
However, the CM air purge collar has a smaller diameter exit aperture that may cut a small amount of energy, resulting in a lower reading, when installed on the Mi3100.
Additionally, the MI3100 accessory, fits the Mi3100 fully, leaving no exposed sections of thread.
Therefore the official recommendation is:
1. XXXCMACAPM should only be installed on CM (metric version).
2. XXXMI3100AP can be installed on CM (metric version) and Mi3100.
