Type: This is a 'Warning' message (Orange highlight).
Source: This originates from the Vector itself.
Symptoms: The A node that was previously added to the current master as part of a wide opening network, or Wide tracker network, has disappeared off the network.
The master will still be reachable and will be functioning correctly (assuming no other errors are present), but the area covered by the missing node will be unmonitored and hence the people count totals provided may not be accurate.
Cause: There are a number of reasons why a node may be missing. It may have been powered off, either on purpose or by mistake. For example a damaged cable may lead to an offline or un-powered node.
It is possible that network settings are incompatible and need updating on either the master or node to ensure they can see each other on the network, or any firewall, or active network monitoring may need to be adjusted to allow comms between Vector devices.
Alternatively a node may have been reverted to a master, or be assigned as a node attached to a different master.
Fix: Connections to the various devices on a wide tracker network should be verified.
Looking at the status LEDs on each device may reveal an error which needs investigating, but at the very least it should be verified that there is some LED activity and therefore they are correctly powered.
If a node has failed, then it will need replacing and the wide tracker re-configured with the new node serial number details.
