Type: This is a 'Warning' message (Orange highlight).
Source: This originates from the Vector itself.
Symptoms: The Wireless PIR in this context is the Irisys Fine Motion Room Sensor, which communicates via BTLE with the Vector and is typically used in occupancy applications for the resetting of the occupancy total. Because of this the Vector itself will be partially working, but any inputs from the Wireless PIR will be lost and not recorded/stored, and any corresponding occupancy total will not be being reset.
Cause: The main reasons for this message are that the Fine Motion Room Sensor is out of range or has powered off due to flat batteries.
Fix: To fix this issue, first check that the batteries do not need replacing.
It should be noted that some materials can block a BTLE signal and prevent communication. If batteries are ok, temporarily move the Fine Motion Room Sensor closer to the Vector to see if a signal is established, and if so the installation may need changing.
Note also that if a Fine Motion Room Sensor is swapped out it must be re-configured with the serial number of the replacement device.
