Google Chrome
Occasionally Google Chrome has an issue when a user tries to open one any of the address book groups.
If the website crashes, when clicking on an address book group, this is because Chromes built in db cache has become corrupted.
It is unknown at this time what causes the corruption but the instructions below will correct the issue.
Before You Start
The last step in the below instructions is to completely close down Chrome. Therefore, you should finish what you are doing on other tabs and save any work, before starting.
Instructions
Firstly, make sure that the Estate Manager webpage is active, and press the F12. The developer tools window will open.
Click on the 'Application' tab at the top:
Now click to expand the Local Storage option on the left. You should see your Estate Manager instance listed there, so click to highlight it.
Now right-click on the "irisys-DeviceGroupComponent-pageOptions" item and then choose 'Delete' from the pop up menu list:
Lastly, press F12 to close the developers window, and restart Chrome. Make sure that you close all open browser tabs and that Chrome is completely shut down, before trying again.
Upon opening Chrome again, log back into Estate Manager and confirm that the issue is resolved.
