Estate Manager provides a back-end application on which people counting partners can base their complete system offering. It automatically collects the count data from all connected Irisys devices and provides a simple-to-use REST API to enable retrieval of the count data from the database for use in your own reports. Not only that, it provides a full suite of functionality designed to manage your complete estate of devices regardless of where they are physically installed. It provides remote configuration, count accuracy validation, including end customer accuracy reports, firmware upgrades, error reporting and a full log of all counter activity. Plus, a flexible scheduling system allows for automatic processing, not only of data collection, but, device time synchronisation, device log retrieval, backup of settings, and more. A user account system is provided with differing levels of access to any number of counters, or groups of counters, as required.
It is for use by Irisys partners and system integrators to manage the day to day running of all customer devices and to provide the data for use in their own software and reports, which will be customer facing.
Because we know the importance of a robust backend application for data collection and counter maintenance, the future development of Estate Manager is assured, and partners should not be concerned about investing time and effort on an Estate Manager deployment for it to be discontinued later on. Estate Manager is on Irisys’s road map for the foreseeable future and is a constantly updated and evolving product, driven by customer feedback.
Estate Manager can be installed on a partner’s own server, but is commonly installed in the cloud, potentially with multiple access points dependent on where counter access is required. It is strongly recommended that Irisys host Estate Manager for a partner as part of an ongoing SaaS offering. Irisys will then manage the server and software, leaving the partner to manage the customer devices only.
