FW for all Vector PoE devices

Firmware Update Instructions

Firmware updates can be performed via an Estate Manager connection to a device, or via a direct connection to a device using the RIFT exe setup software.

Note that firmware updates cannot be performed via a web based setup connection.
Always follow any additional instructions included with the firmware update file.

1. Connect to the Vector via RIFT standalone exe or select the device from within Estate Manager.

2. Click the 'Actions' button in the top right corner and select the 'Task Launcher' option from the drop down list

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Click 'Upload Task Package' then, on the next dialog, click 'Choose Files'

4.Navigate to the firmware update task file(s) on your PC and select the ones you want, then Click 'Uploadall'
Once a firmware file is available it will be selectable from the dropdown menu for future use

5. Choose the relevant fw file from the drop down, and click ‘Run Task'

6. Updating the firmware will take a few minutes. Once complete the Vector is fully updated. It is recommended to finally reboot the Vector if possible. Note some firmware updates may require a full factory reset – always read the accompanying instructions.

It is recommended that devices are periodically updated to any new firmware version as it is made available to ensure the smooth running of Vector devices.
