Introduction
Vectors do not generally need to be rebooted, but there are occasions when a reboot is required, for example when inserting a USB-IO module or USB Bluetooth Receiver, so that the drivers are correctly installed and the add-on is fully useable.
Additionally when contacting Irisys support for technical queries relating to a device, you maybe asked to reboot a device as part of the fault finding process.
Lastly when performing a firmware update, most updates will finish with an automatic reboot, but some will require a manual reboot.
Reboot Device Option
When connected to a device for setup purposes via the RIFT application, the Reboot Device option is available in the Actions menu in the top right:
Note that different RIFT connections may have slightly different options to the ones shown above. This is normal and to be expected.
