Introduction
The Irisys Vector device is a highly configurable device which provides many different ways of using and extracting the data.
It is a very long way away from being a one trick pony like a temperature or CO2 sensor.
Vectors are also capable of providing best in class accuracy in the vast majority of scenarios.
Vectors should never be left at default configuration - even if your application is the IN and OUT counting functionality provided by default. At the very least, the positions of the virtual count lines used to provide the counting will need to be adjusted in some way.
Configuration is done via a direct connection via your preferred web browser, or via the setup software that you can install on your laptop. Alternatively it can be done remotely via an Estate Manager connection, although a bare minimum of reconfiguration is required in order to establish the remote connection in the first place.
The good news is that regardless of the method of setup being utilised (web, exe or Estate Manager), a consistent and uniform experience is assured through the Irisys 'RIFT' interface.
