Problem: Recording to a single file for a number of hours results in a file so large this it cannot be used. For example, a TV60 recording at 60Hz will generate a file of 700GB in just over 8 hours.
Solution: Use Automation Mode Conditions to set a repeated time trigger. Example for 10s repeated recording, until Automation Mode is manually stopped. Increase Repeat period value to suit:
In Image Recorder set Recording triggers/Start to the Timer Condition above (dropdown). Then set the Recording triggers/Stop timeout value to 1s less than the Recording Interval Trigger value:
When selecting Start recoding will commence and continue until manually stopped.
Aim to keep files sizes less than 30GB.
