The Right Installation First Time (RIFT) Software is used to setup your Irisys devices and configure the counting lines to the unique requirements of the site.
RIFT supports Vector, and obsolete Gazelle and 3000 series devices.
RIFT can also be used for configuration over IP as an alternative to configuring via the built in setup software using a compatible Internet browser. It should be noted that the onboard web based version of RIFT often negates the requirement to install a separate piece of software.
The RIFT exe is required if you want to perform local firmware updates on devices as firmware updates are not available on the web version.
The RIFT exe is also required if you want to connect to device via a non-standard port number.

If you already have an older version of RIFT Installed you must manually remove the existing version of RIFT using the Windows Add/Remove Programs function before installing the new version. See separate instructions here.
